Here we are!
Well, here we are; Sonshine Fest 2009. We got here pretty early, but we were able to run to walmart and pick up some groceries after getting set up. We then went to check out the civic center and to the main stage for the free switchfoot concert. Some band called “Silverline” opened for them, and we left after there second song cause they pretty much sucked. We went back for Switchfoot and stayed for a few songs, but I couldn’t stand to hold Taylor on my shoulders for much longer, and it was getting late and chilly, so we headed back to camp where we are now. The real fun starts tomorrow when The Showdown will be taking the stage for the first time since Sonshine 2006. I’m PSYCHED!! Taylor seems to be having a good time so far, and that’s a good thing. The weather’s gonna be great, the bands are gonna be rockin, and I really believe we’re gonna leave here wildly pumped to cone back next year. Hopefully this post publishes, there’s a little circle where my “Edge network” logo usually is. Peace!
