Time to Blog
I realize I haven’t blogged in quite some time. I would apologize for that, but I believe it’s a fair assumption to say that nobody cares whether I write or not. There’s plenty of other entertainment out there, and a wealth of more interesting bloggers on Xanga, to draw all of your attention away from me, so the fact that you’ve read this far probably means that you’ve finished the Internet and you’re reluctantly making one final stop to my corner of the universe. That said, let’s get on with it.
From May of 2005 until March of 2009 I worked as a blowmolder at a company known as Entegris. I had a pretty serious love/hate relationship with my job, but I greatly enjoyed the company of the people I worked with both at work and at home. We regularily held parties at each others houses, hung out on our days off, and had loads of fun working together. Recently, I lost my partner at my current job, and one of my old coworkers, my boss actually, is coming up from Wisconsin tonight to interview for the open position. It’ll be wonderful to see him again, and fantasic of he gets (and takes) the job. I’m sure it won’t be “just like old times” or anything, but it’ll be close enough I’m sure. At any rate, I’m excited to see him.
On a side note, I just enjoyed a cheap cigar with my best buddy Adam. We both love cigars, and “the high life” (whether we’re living it or not, we still like to pretend), and it’s been a pretty good day. Gorgeous weather, cigars, beer (Sam Adams Chocolate Bock, actually) and a hearty helping of conversation have made it all the better.
Until next time, whenever that may be, peace be the journey.

Gotta love those times. I’ve found lately that really good conversation is my favorite thing in the world. I love being with a couple good friends, sitting out under a clear sky, and conversing about things. I’m not talking stupid things… I’m talking heavy stuff that makes you think. My youth leader and mentor once said, “Small-minded people talk about people. Average-minded people talk about events. Big-minded people talk about ideas.” This summer I’ve probably seen my brain grow 3 times it’s size because of all the deep talks I’ve had with people. Good to read another of your blogs… it’s been a while. How are things going?
@respawn87 - I’m not one to complain, but things could certainly be better. Of course, they could be worse, too, I suppose. Thanks for asking!
